Welcome to the Saddle and Sirloin Club online! The Saddle and Sirloin Club is the world's largest gallery of portraits devoted to a single industry. Established in 1903, the portrait gallery pays tribute to leaders and influential figures of the livestock industry. Originally housed on the top floor of the Purebred Livestock Records Building (adjacent to the Stock Yards Inn and the Amphitheater) in Chicago, Illinois, the gallery was moved to the Kentucky Fair & Exposition Center in Louisville, Kentucky in 1977. Today, a large portion of the prestigious collection can be viewed in the West Hall of the Kentucky Exposition Center. A smaller portion of the collection hangs in the South Wing C Mezzanine. Currently, the Saddle and Sirloin Club gallery contains nearly 350 portraits.

The tradition of honoring the significant, historical, and influential leaders of the livestock industry continues every November during the North American International Livestock Exposition. Each year during the show, another industry leader is selected by his peers to be inducted into the Saddle and Sirloin Club portrait collection. The portrait is revealed and hung with a time-honored ceremony reflecting the traditions of artistic quality and great sentimental and historical value.
